Momentum Learning Center is a leading provider of client-led, play-based, one-on-one Behavioral Therapy for children between the ages of two to 12. With locations in Tulsa and Owasso, Oklahoma, we are committed to creating a fun, collaborative, safe, and exciting learning environment for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our therapy programs utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support the development and progress of each child.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing and coding medical procedures and services to ensure timely reimbursement from insurance companies. Your role will play a crucial part in the success of our medical practice.

Responsibilities:
- Review and verify patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, ensuring timely resolution
- Review and interpret medical records, coding diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries or disputes
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing codes, regulations, and industry trends

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT)
- Familiarity with medical office software systems for billing purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills to interact with our administrative team, patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
