Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing excellent patient care and support in a fast-paced orthodontic practice.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and orthodontic procedures
- Take PANO, CEPH, Photos, and iTero Scan
- Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon
- Follow medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality
- Assist in medical documentation and updating patient charts
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Provide chair-side assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment
- Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary
- Manage and organize dental supplies and instruments

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in orthodontic setting, is preferred
- Proficiency in twin braces and Invisalign

We are a state of the art practice using iTero, lasers, and digital X-rays. Looking for 2 experienced assistants for Thursday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
