Job Description:

We are looking for a hardworking and knowledgeable maintenance person to join our team at Off Campus Property Management and oversee all maintenance at our Cedar City Properties. This person needs to be available to work 10-15 hours per week, sometimes more, and sometimes less, depending on the volume of maintenance requests received that week. Their primary responsibilities will be to ensure all properties managed by Off Campus Property Management located in Cedar City are kept clean and that repairs are addressed in a timely manner. Specific tasks are outlined below. Additional tasks may be assigned by the General Manager. You are expected to become proficient in management software as it applies to work orders. You are also expected to conduct yourself in a professional manner while you are on site at any property managed by OCPM. The handyman we hire will need to have their own truck and tools.

Tasks:

• General repairs and maintenance for properties located in Cedar City (5 Locations)
• Coordinate with tenants to assess and complete repairs
• Schedule time directly with tenant on when issue will be taken care of
• Frequently check maintenance software for any maintenance request and keep information up to date on the status of each maintenance request
• Report weekly to the head of maintenance on completed repairs
• Oversee vendors for landscaping, snow plowing, HVAC, etc.
• Pick up trash around the properties and ensure they are clean at all times
• Move furniture as needed
• Respond to after hours Emergency repair calls
• Coordinate with appliance suppliers for warranty claims
• Coordinate with specialists for escalated repairs

Qualifications

• Proficient in all types of handyman work, including but not limited to:
• General plumbing
• General electrical
• Drywall
• Painting
• Landscaping
• Cabinet repairs
• Fix and replace appliances such as garbage disposals, dishwashers, refrigerators, washers, and dryers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed
