Currently seeking a Medical Insurance Verification Specialist for a part-time position. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional experience to patients, customers and physicians.

Tasks and Responsibilities for Insurance/Authorization:

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations when needed
• Serve as a liaison between all customers, including patients, physicians, and staff.
• Ensure optimal customer service
• Answer general inquiry phone calls, as needed

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years medical office insurance and/or registration experience, preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, E-clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of insurance plans
• Hours Monday- Thursday 8 am - 1 pm Friday 8 am- 12 pm
