A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our Data Warehouse group in Washington, DC. The Configuration Management Specialist will provide expertise in hardware, software and process Configuration Management practices in accordance with FAA CM Policy for applicable International Organization for Standardization (ISO) or integrated Capability Maturity Model (iCMM) techniques.

This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in hardware, software and process Configuration Management (CM) practices in accordance with FAA CM Policy for applicable International Organization for Standardization (ISO) or integrated Capability Maturity Model (iCMM) techniques.
• Participate in the application of FAA and NAS-related CM policies.
• Evaluate contract data requirements lists, switching center replacement, engineering change proposals, highest previous rate and the National Airspace System Change Proposals, which provide specifications for changes to baseline documents or lab and field infrastructure, to ensure appropriate control of NAS and non-NAS system components.
• Participate in the development of CM change control requirements.
• Conduct CM training and audits.
• Facilitate national CM board meetings.

• Experience applying formalized policies and techniques to organizational configuration management practices.
• Experience ensuring control of system components and developing change control requirements.
• Experience supporting configuration management audits.
• Experience conducting training.
• Experience preparing reports and deliverables.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines.
• Self-motivated to take ownership of projects.
• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, IT or related field and 2 years of IT experience.
