Human Resources Manager-Part Time (15-20 hours)

We are working with our client Riverside Eye Center in seeking a Part Time Human Resources Manager , to be based in the Lewiston, Maine Office.

Requirements of the Human Resources Manager:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years' experience in human resources
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Lewiston, Maine with occasional travel to Norway, Maine.

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager:

• Encourages a positive work environment and develops a creative staff retention program that ensures that the employees understand that they are appreciated and supported by the organization.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives that support the retention of new hires.
• Makes recommendations for hiring, recognitions, promotions and reclassifications.
• Makes recommendations and supports plans for staff training and professional development.
• Manages understaffing, disputes, discipline, and termination.
• Supports management with the communication of organizational changes and updates.
• Maintains records concerning personnel-related data as needed.
• Conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
