As a Home Care Pediatric Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication and feeding skills of pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to identify speech and language disorders, communication challenges, and feeding difficulties.
2. Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans to address communication, articulation, language, and feeding goals.
3. Collaborate with parents/caregivers to provide training and support, ensuring the integration of therapy techniques into the home environment.
4. Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
5. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
6. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient cases and contribute to comprehensive care plans.

Qualifications:

1. Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of New York.
2. Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Pediatric Speech Therapist.
3. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
4. Knowledge of pediatric communication disorders, language development, and feeding/swallowing issues.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
