Under the general direction of the Director of Oncology and the clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist, this position develops and implements training and monitoring programs to ensure radiation protection to all patients and personnel, oversees the quality control program for all radiological equipment, conducts equipment performance testing, and provides dosimetry planning and other related services for Radiation Oncology. The Physicist also monitors radiation exposure of all appropriate personnel and evaluates and develops safe working procedures for personnel working around or with radiation producing equipment or radioactive materials. # PHD or M.S. degree in Physics required. Three years as a Radiation Physicist also required. Must have board certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics.
