Cooperative Home Care is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Clintwood, VA

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential assistance to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in need.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Administer medication reminders under the direction of a nurse or healthcare provider
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to provide care with compassion, dignity, and respect
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience with dementia care is a plus
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques is advantageous
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program is required
- Understanding of assisted living principles and practices
