We are currently looking for an experienced part-time Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a self starter and has the desire to grow and take on more responsibility.
Hours: Part time 24 hours per week
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Counting cash/cash handling
- Balancing daily sales
- Analyzing customer payments and researches unapplied cash
- Daily deposit reconcilliation
- Researching and solving discrepancies
- Weekly reports
- Ordering change
- ATM management
- Participating in day to day accounting
- Filing, general office duties, and projects as assigned
Position Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience with cash handling and basic accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Attention to detail
- Troubleshooting
- MS Office
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and POS systems is a plus
- 25% local travel with travel time and mileage paid between locations
