Staffworks is Hiring a Receptionist - Part Time Near Herkimer, NY
Staffworks is assisting a local nonprofit in filling an opening for a Receptionist in Herkimer NY
Qualified candidate will be someone with at least 4 years of secretarial experience, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
• A high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of secretarial experience.
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of office and secretarial practices and procedures
• Ability to manage the use of multiple computer screens in software program
• Possess competent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, in addition to the demonstrated ability to work well with others.
Essential responsibilities:
• Manage the front reception desk
• Answer multiple phone lines (initiate triage calls, take messages, transfer calls, etc)
• Check clients in and out for their appointments with Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Therapists
• Schedule appointments in our computer software program
• Complete reminder calls to clients regarding appointment times
• Filing
• Manage Doctor, Nurses and Therapists schedules
• Monitor waiting area
Hours are Monday and Tuesday 8:30am - 4:30pm
