On-site Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic screenings.

• Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice, and monitor patient response to therapy.

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and electrocardiograms.

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.

• Provide patient education on preventive care, chronic disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and professional development activities to enhance clinical practice and contribute to evidence-based medicine.

Requirements:

• Must hold current license/registration to practice.

• 2 years of experience as NP.

• Excellent English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills.

• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.

• Ability to maintain highly confidential information.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Nice to have:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing

On-site: New Mexico

Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days a week, with one week off every month.
