Consumer Credit Counseling Service is Hiring a Manager of Human Resources Near Walnut Creek, CA
Contra Costa Christian Schools seeks a dynamic and effective Director of Human Resources to effectively manage human resources procedures, communications, and record keeping.
Position Details
- This is a part-time, 12 month exempt position
- Reports to the Head of School.
- BA/BS degree in human resources or HR management, or other relevant degree.
- Personal testimony and whole-hearted commitment to a fervent faith in Christ.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of increased leadership experience in a related role.
- Demonstrated success in preparing, maintaining and implementing human resources procedures, documenting human resource issues etc.
- Experience in managing human resource issues for non-profit organizations.
- Supervisory experience is highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of ability to work collaboratively and achieve success in a team setting.
- Personal belief, connection, and commitment to the faith statement, vision, and mission of Contra Costa Christian Schools.
- A team first mentality with the ability to push through difficulties through creativity and resourcefulness.
- High energy level with the ability to complete projects within the constraints of time and budget limitations.
- Serious commitment to involvement in a local, Bible believing church.
- A lifestyle and faith walk consistent with the requirements expressed in the CCCS employee handbook.
- Evidence of strong emotional intelligence including self-awareness, empathy, self-regulation, and overall social skills.

- Maintains, implements and enforces human resource policies and procedures.
- Manage all aspects of the employment process including orientation and training new staff members.
- Collaborate with the Head of School to ensure human resource issues are implemented according to the goals and priorities of the Head of School and Board of Directors.
- Ensure best practices for employee hiring, and employee compliance with CCCS HR procedures.
- Evaluate organizational policy and procedures related to employee handbook, staff relations, legal and regulatory authorities and other areas as assigned.
- Work in collaboration with the administration to minimize liability risk.
- Administer employee benefits and serve as the primary point of contact for our benefits partners.
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
