About the Role:
The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for inputting transactions and administering a purchasing system. This position initiates, prepares, processes, and verifies purchase orders based on the established guidelines to purchase materials and goods by required delivery dates.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and Process Purchase Orders: Initiates, prepares, processes, and prepares purchase orders following established guidelines to purchase materials and goods by required delivery dates.
• Expedite Orders: Expedites any delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements.
• Interact with Suppliers: Interacts with suppliers to confirm pricing terms, product specifications, monitor availability, and optimize payment schedules as determined by each supplier relationship.
• Interact with Internal Team: Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Creating a Safety Culture: Everyone plays a role in fostering a strong safety culture within the facility. This involves promoting/adhering to safety as a core value, openly communicating about safety concerns, and safety initiatives. By creating a culture where safety is a top priority, we encourage proactive safety behaviors and reduce the likelihood of accidents or incidents.
