Overview

Performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment ,at a level not requiring formal licensure. If not experienced in an area listed above, have a positive attitude and be eager to acquire the needed skill.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Painting, pressure washing, outdoor maintenance.
• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Install appliances and equipment
• Do garden/yard upkeep, collecting trash etc.
• Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Documents facilities maintenance requirements; maintains appropriate records of work performed.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Report to store owner

Requirements

• Intune with current technology
• Have needed skills or be willing to learn
• Drives licenses, as this position requires travel between 2 store locations
• At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Experience using hand tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Physical stamina and dexterity ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
