Job Description:
65% Cashiering-A/R Daily Functions: Collect and post payments including student tuition, fee, fines. Oversee parking tickets system ensuring that accurate records are kept. Cashier functions of the business office window. Responsible for daily cash control including balancing the drawer at the close of business daily. Answer phone calls from students, faculty and staff and route to correct person if unable to assist. Analyze student data related to student accounts, financial aid, account balances in providing services through various data platforms. Assisting students with account related actions.
30% Collections/ AR: Assist with sending out collection notices every semester. Assist with the collections/write-off submissions and AR Quarterly report as needed.
5% Other: Process paperwork and/or enter data into various database systems that
feed other offices. Scan, file and maintain required documents/log sheets. Manage and train student workers. Assist Business Office personnel with performed duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma
2-3 years customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree
3-5 years experience
Salary: $10.00-$13.00/hr
