Description

In a new and exciting partnership with Lehman College, Asphalt Green is looking to hire experienced, part-time swim instructors in the Bronx, for the 2024 summer season.

Instructors must be available to teach classes during our preset swim instruction hours, including weekdays between 9am-3pm. Pay rates range from $23 to $25 an hour with room for professional development opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to use your teaching and people skills to introduce individuals to the joys of swimming. All instructors are trained in Asphalt Green’s unique curriculum and teaching methodology.

Additional hours are available at both our Upper East Side and Battery Park City campuses, including afternoons and weekends. All candidates interested in continued employment beyond summer are welcome to inquire further.

Qualifications

Candidates should have previously taught, coached, or swam competitively at either the club, high school, or college level. All instructors must be able to work one (1) weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). These are both requirements for hire.
