Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Drees Homes isseeking friendly, customer focused candidates to fill our Receptionist position in our office located in Nashville, TN. This position will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Office manager and various departments in the Nashville Division. The Receptionist will answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors in a friendly and helpfil manner on behalf of Drees Homes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer all incoming calls for the Division and route to the appropriate Department/person.
  • Responsible for ordering office supplies on a weekly basis as approved by the Office Manager.
  • Manage the conference room calendar in Outlook.
  • Create FedEx packages to corporate.
  • Manage and update phone listing for employees.
  • Assist Market Managers with letter postage.
  • Create, email and mail customer confirmation letters.
  • Generate welcome message for incoming customer to be displayed on digital signage.
  • Assist in organizing Design Center display areas; welcome visitors and inform Design Center of appointments.
  • Echo sign customer documents.
  • Distribute, sort and stamp mail.
  • Prepare utility transfers and file service transfers.
  • Prepare Homeowner Orientation binders.
  • Print environments for Living Guarantees.
  • Call customers for midpoint surveys.
  • Print and post closing surveys.
  • Print and distribute county newsletters.
  • Assist with planning employee events.
  • Training for Accounts Payable backup responsibilities.
  • Training for Marketing backup responsibilities.
  • Copy and mail welcome letters to customers.
  • Copy commission statements and distribute to appropriate Market Managers mailbox.
  • Any other duties assigned by Office Manager.

Requirements include:

  • Previous general office and/or receptionist experience in a professional environment
  • Experience with a multi-line phone
  • Exceptional phone etiquette, communication and customer service skills
  • Good computer skills, proficient in MS Office programs Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be organized and detail-minded
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • High school diploma required
