Revenue Assurance Specialist - Hybrid

This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities and a knack for managing diverse tasks across various departments within tight deadlines.

Overview: As a Revenue Assurance Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in our Accounting/Finance team, ensuring the precision of all Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) invoices and expenditures. Your primary focus will be on meticulously reviewing and analyzing invoices to detect pricing inconsistencies, potential discrepancies, and vendor account irregularities.

Your Role:

• Utilize third-party auditing software with internal inventory systems to validate vendor billing accuracy, diligently identifying invoice anomalies, errors, and discrepancies.
• Navigate through defined workflow processes to approve vendor invoices, conduct thorough inventory validations and exception analyses, and escalate disputes when necessary.
• Enter invoices for exceptions and new accounts until automation of the account becomes feasible.
• Harness data from multiple platforms to generate insightful reports and execute inventory reconciliations.
• Verify vendor invoice compliance with contractual terms, fee schedules, and other formal agreements, promptly addressing pricing errors with vendors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analyses and resolve financial-related issues efficiently.
• Assist in the month-end close process, conduct account reconciliations, and engage in other general ledger activities as required.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Your Background:

• Possess a minimum of two years of experience as a revenue assurance specialist.
• Previous experience in accounts payable, billing, auditing, or related fields is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MHC/Contact Telecom – Billing Data Analyzer (BDA), Omnia/Oasis, and NetSuite is preferred.
• While a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, it's not mandatory.
