The MarineCrewing/Dispatcher isresponsibleforensuring thatthe Towing Operations departmenthas adequatemarinepersonnelfor the propermanningofplannedwork.He/sheisresponsibleforensuring thatthecorrectpersonnel areplaced onspecificprojectsthat exploittheindividual’sskillsandknowledgeand forcoordinating the logistics ofallmarinepersonnel for each project. Thisposition isresponsiblefor the SSE (ShortService Employee) program forallassignedOperationsemployees.

Duties/Responsibilities

Essential job duties and responsibilities include:

·Ensure all hitches are always staffed accordingly.

·Forecast crew changesto ensure that there are full crew on all managed vessels.

·Arrange crew member transportation to and from job sitesas needed.

·Work with Captains and crew members to resolve issues.

·Supports, complies with, andparticipates in HSEProgram.

·Interview applicants for open positions.

·Facilitatesthecareerprogressionplanfor allentry level personnel and ensures thatthe planisfollowed.

·Ensuresthat allemployeesarecertifiedtotheir appropriate level and skillinaccordancewithallregulatory and governingagencies.

·Callsmarinepersonnelforassignmentsandensurescalloutaccuracyfor jobmobilizations.AssignslaborforWarehouse/Yard work as needed.

·Consultmarine personnel as needed for Performance Improvement and Evaluations.

·Compilesall morning vessel reportsandmonitorsworkopportunitiesforallOperationspersonnel.

·Complieswith USCG rules withregardstoseatimepaperwork. Prepares Sea Time letters for currentand previous employees when requested.

·Performsaminimum ofonesitevisiteachcalendarmonth.

·Rotates on-call responsibilities asscheduled including nights and weekends.

·Supportsand participates in theorganization’sContinual ImprovementProgram.

·Monitorsand orders supplies and groceries for vessels while ensuring cost savingsmethods.

·Reviewsand enter boat logs and marine personnel hours for payroll.

·Performsotherdutiesasassigned.

·Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
