Description
We are seeking a motivated entry-level coach to assist with teaching and coaching youth camps for the upcoming golf season. Help inspire youth golfers to enjoy the game!
The Northbrook Golf Academy at Heritage Oaks Golf Club and Anetsberger Golf Course specializes in coaching youth players serving more than 1000 students per year. The academy offers youth clinics, camps, and youth leagues for children ages 5-14, and private lessons. To learn more about each course and offered amenities, click here.
Wage & Shift Information
Starting at $20 per hour depending on experience.
Various Shifts, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8am - 4pm
Travel 5-15% - Camps will take place at Heritage Oaks and Anetsberger Golf Course, and travel may be required between the two sites on the same day.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and friendly customer service to all patrons.
• Assist main coach with golf camp instruction offering basic tips and running fun games for full swing and short game on the range.
• Supervise and coach children on the golf course while helping them learn the rules etiquette, and pace of play in a safe environment.
• Knowledge of the rules and etiquette required to play.
• Assist with establishing and providing a safe environment for young children to learn the game of golf.
• May lead to other coaching opportunities to assist with youth group clinics and youth leagues with the Northbrook Golf Academy.

Qualifications
An energetic individual who is passionate about the game of golf, and helping others increase their enjoyment of playing the game. A playing background in competitive golf or previous experience coaching or participating in youth golf camps, youth clinics or youth golf leagues is preferred. Ability to play at a competent level and having adequate knowledge of the game. Must be 16 with reliable transportation.
