We are looking for a proven, motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to maximize revenue for targeted accounts by growing sales within existing accounts as well as identifying and developing new accounts at a level consistent with or exceeding company expectations. With the responsibility of generating positive sales growth for a specific geography, this Field Sales Representative will have a travel frequently to client sites more than 50% of the time.

Field Sales Responsibilities:

* Proactively expand sales by following leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling and lead databases

* Collaborate with Sales Support Associate(s) and Appointment Setters to sell products/services, coordinate client visits, sales meetings, etc.

* Develop and implement innovative selling strategies

* Manage sales process from end to end; initial opportunity through service application

* Foster strong relationships with customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty

* Understand customer needs and objectives and remain alert/responsive to changing customer needs

* Lead generate for all sales areas including insurance, factoring, etc., showing initiative to ensure leads have been contacted

* Partner with leadership to negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, as well as other components of customer products

Field Sales Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; or equivalent relevant industry experience

* Minimum of 2-3 years outside/field sales experience; preferably in a B2B environment

* Excellent client service and communication skills

* Holds a consultative approach, business development skills with a strong attention to detail

* Highly experienced within the Trucking Industry (Preferred)

* Experience in Commercial Insurance a plus, but not a required

* Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learning new systems and processes

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office

* Ability and willingness to travel at least 30% - 50% of the time

* Ability to manage the sales process both independently and in collaboration with a Sales Support Associate

* Valid driver's license (Required)

* Language: English, Spanish (Preferred but not required)
