The Warehouse Associate's primary focus is to prepare items for shipment and to verify and record outgoing shipments.
JOB SUMMARY
•Managing stock and informing inventory control when inventory is off
•Pick order while ensuring accuracy
•Pack orders efficiently and to prevent damage
•Restacking and relabeling imperfect inventory
•Removing pallets and maintaining cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift.
Requirements
EXPECTATIONS
•High school education or equivalent
•UPS Worldwide experience a plus
•Ability to use electrical and manual pallet jacks and forklifts
•Must be able to read and complete basic math functions
•Must be computer literate and able to use warehouse tools such as an RF scanner
•Reliable and dependable attendance is required
•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time
•Must be able to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb, and twist
•Ability to work in an environment with fragrance in the air and a warmer temperature
