Requirements of the Team Lead

• High School Diploma Required, Associate’s Degree preferred
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience as well as a good understanding of manufacturing operations, processes and procedures
• Must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of team lead experience
• Troubleshooting background preferred

Responsibilities of the Team Lead

• Ensure planned production levels, quality, efficiency, and budget objectives are met and report progress to the Production Coordinator
• Plan equipment and manpower utilization to assure maximum effectively and adjust as necessary
• Investigate and analyze problems pertaining to production delays, quality discrepancies, inventory control, inadequate methods, etc.
• Ensure the disposition of defective parts considering cost of salvage/rework probabilities. Control total scrap and rejected materials
• Ensure the company’s human resource policies
• Training and development of subordinates in all aspects of their job
• Maintain effective work relationships within the department and all levels of the company
• Promote safe work practices, conditions and habit
