Tosoh Bioscience, Inc is requiring that this employee reside in the state of New Jersey, or Eastern Pennsylvania.
Summary
Provide on-site technical support and training for Tosoh Bioscience, Inc. customers and provide technical support
for internal departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support to all AIA-2000, AIA-1800, AIA-900 and AIA-600II customers. This includes assisting with method validation studies, conducting on-site in services, assisting with the introduction of new analytes and contributing to the resolution of technical problems in conjunction with Field Service and Technical Service.
Perform the physical installation of the G8 and AIA-360 analyzers. Conduct on-site customer training. Assist with method validation studies.
Communicate to the complaint handling department all product and performance issues encountered in customer accounts. Document all issues in the SalesLogix system.
Support the sales department through participation in trade shows, product demonstrations and communication with the local sales representatives and sales managers.
As needed, work in conjunction with Field Service and Technical Service to resolve instrument and assay related customer complaints.
Enter all training and troubleshooting calls into the SalesLogix system.
Provide monthly reports to the Clinical Support Manager.
Participate in periodic departmental conference calls and company meetings.
Participate in special projects and other additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of Windows based software
Proven troubleshooting skills within the laboratory environment
Experience in training laboratory personnel on clinical laboratory instrumentation
Minimum of three years clinical laboratory experience. Laboratory supervisory experience preferred
Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check
Must be able to travel extensively
Education
Minimum of Associate’s degree Clinical Laboratory Science, Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology
required.
Working Conditions
This position requires visits to customer sites which are medical facilities. These facilities may have certain requirements which TBI representatives must meet to gain access, including the requirement for drug, background, and health screening. Employment is contingent on your compliance with the requirements established by each facility, as evidenced by the results of the required screenings.
Must agree to provide required immunization records and/or agree to acquire required immunizations in order to gain access to customer sites as required by customers. You may be required to register at vendor credentialing companies.
