American Cast Iron Pipe Company is Hiring an Accounting Assistant Near Birmingham, AL
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Prior accounting and related experience.
- Experience utilizing and writing worksheet applications on personal computer using Excel or other spreadsheet software.
- Prior experience using JD Edwards, Bottomline, Hubble, Infinium, ASI, or UKG software.
- Working knowledge and concepts of Standard Cost System.
- Must exhibit a basic knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, accounting terminology and practices.
- Must exhibit the ability to learn software applications and accounting procedures.
- Must exhibit a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, such as Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to work extra hours on weekdays or weekends as required to fulfill job duties.
- Subject to departmental transfer to other Accounting Assistant positions within the Finance Division.
