ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sample Processing (90%)

• Fulfill daily sample requests from sales staff and management resulting in a high-quality presentation of the sample product.
• Ensure proper product is selected and quantity prepared is within standards.
• Utilize proper container for selected product and label clearly and accurately reflects the sample and is visually appealing.
• Enclose proper documentation including specification sheet and nutritional information when requested.
• Update shipments in Salesforce, tracking information, shipping costs, and lot code- mark as sent and fulfilled.
• Ship requests using proper resource to ensure cost efficiency.
• Receive approval from supervisor regarding any sample request in excess of standard size or for overnight shipment requests with an early morning delivery.
• Prepare and update Christmas candy bar gift list as received from senior management.
• Prepare employee birthdays, donations and employee’s sales per assigned plant.
• Prepare chocolate, cocoa, and supporting documents for all shows and conferences coordinating with Marketing Communications Manager and sales.

Administration (10%)

• Provide administrative support to office and R&D team as needed. Some duties may include posting mail and preparing for shipment; filing; matching paperwork; picking up unique samples or office supplies.
• Operate within the core values of respect and care for others.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three to five years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPG or confectionary businesses.
• Computer competence: Working knowledge of: Salesforce, WMS, SAP, Microsoft software and Apple hardware.
• Ability to work independently most times, still effectively be able to communicate in a Team setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Able to pivot tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Must read, write, and speak English at an adequate level.
