Description

SanTan Brewing Company is looking for a Cleaner / Maintenance / Driver to join our team in Chandler, AZ.

Located in the Phoenix metro's East Valley, SanTan was founded in 2007 in downtown Chandler, where we continue to operate a 15-bbl brewery & restaurant in our original location.

In 2013, we added a production facility with a 50-bbl brewhouse, where we package beer in both cans and draft. SanTan branched out into distilled spirits in 2017 and is now Arizona's largest distillery in addition to our brewery.

The Cleaner / Maintenance / Driver will report to the General Manager, Operations Manager and join a team of 100 production and restaurant staff.

The typical hours of operation in this role are between 6a - 6p, on a staggered basis, but will occasionally be expected to work outside of these hours when certain projects / events / festivals deem it necessary.

This position requires frequent driving between the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, our main production plant and brewpub restaurant, performing various tasks at each facility.

Primary responsibilities :

• Standard work week Monday through Friday with the ability to work some weekends and holidays
• Must be able to drive food truck, box truck, catering vans, etc
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Ability to do minor repairs is a plus
• Responsible for keg and other deliveries
• Willingness to operate keg cleaning equipment
• Powerwashing and general facility maintenance
• Cleaning of facility including floors, windows, doors, ledges, bathrooms and other tasks as directed
• Opportunity to train in beer and spirits packaging
• Opportunity to work entry and door monitoring for special events, concerts and festivals
• Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.
• Request real time help from supervisor or other employees when needed.
• Open to coaching and feedback from the supervisor.
• Communicate and treat fellow co-workers and other members of the SanTan team with respect
• Adhere to a "Safety Always" mindset and comply with safety policies & programs
• Approach every task with quality in mind, paying attention to detail & accuracy
• Operate heavy equipment and company vehicles as needed including forklifts and large trucks and trailers.
• Understand and be able to assist other departments when needed

Qualifications

• Work in factory and kitchen / restaurant environments which may be loud, hot, humid, or have wet / slippery floors
• Multi-task and follow standard operating procedures
• Bend, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs
• Stand for prolonged periods
• Work indoors, outdoors, and on rooftops when necessary
• Work safely with chemicals of varying composition, including wearing personal protection equipment such as gloves and goggles
• Safely work at height on ladders and elevated platforms
• Safely work in and around confined spaces
• Operate a pallet jack
• Occasionally move heavy objects (165 lbs.)

Employment Requirements :

• Prior cleaning or driving experience preferred
