Position Title: Test Center Technician
Position Department: Production

JOB SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties & Responsibilities

- Test equipment as manufactured.
- Hook up hoses and water supply to equipment.
- Report product deficiencies to Lead Test Center Technician and/or Production Manager.
- Read and interpret P&ID and electrical schematics.
- Perform quality assurance and work with Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to meet critical shipping schedules.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures, test control systems, and execute repairs in-factory or at customer site.
- Troubleshoot and repair fluid handling systems (experience with fittings, tube bending, leak detection, etc.).
- Document problems and issues together with diagnostics procedures and problem resolution.
- Maintain a clean and efficient shop & production area.
- Work with the Service and Production Manager(s) to make sure expanded items are maintained at proper levels to meet project-specific and service / maintenance goals.
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

- HS/GED; Associates degree in mechanical or electrical technology (or applicable field) a plus
- Entry level position
- Mechanically inclined; working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing components, drilling measurement skills; learns quickly.
- High level safety and health awareness.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the industry.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and computers
- In-depth understanding of company standards
- Up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices

Position Working Environment:
Manufacturing environment. Frequent exposure to environments containing dust, machine noise, and welding equipment. Frequent standing, walking, and lifting loads under 50 pounds.
