Anchor Innovation, Inc. seeks USCG-licensed Captains and experienced Deckhands to support Navy port operations in Kittery, Maine. Crew will serve as a pusher / tug boat Captain and Deckhand on Navy-owned Barrier Handling Boast, opening/closing of security barrier system, and providing routine boat housekeeping. The Boat Captains are responsible and accountable for the safe operation of the vessel and crew under a variety of challenging conditions and situations in a port and harbor environment - subject to varying weather conditions.

Education/Experience:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct boat and equipment checks
2. Know how to tie various types of knots and splice lines
3. Inspect barrier system integrity on a daily basis
4. Make minor repairs to barrier nets
5. Open/close barrier gates using the connector mechanism as directed by the Navy
6. Maintain barrier lighting
7. Remove navigation hazards
8. Deliver paint maintenance barges (PMBs) and other collateral equipment to Navy units
9. Clean barrier boat
10. Report any unsafe conditions
11. Participate in all safety training/drills/exercises
12. Comply with all safety and environmental requirements associated with the work performed
13. Other duties as assigned or required
Language Ability: Ability to speak, read and comprehend English in order to understand printed regulations, detailed written orders, operating procedures, emergency response procedures and training instructions and materials.
