Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and experience in managing accounts payable processes.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
- Handling Payments
- Match, Vouch Documents and Generate Vendor Checks
- Work with various departments to ensure proper coding of payments
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues
- Assist with Auditing as necessary
Experience:
- Proficient using microsoft office (excel and word)
- 10 Key, Data Entry and abililty to type 40 WPM
- Knowledge of financial concepts and practices
- Familiarity with accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting
- Previous experience in public accounting or similar roles is a plus
Requirements:
- Inside or Outside Sales Experience a Plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
