We would like for you to consider our Health Unit Coordinator opportunity for our new hospital and carry out our vision of bringing communities, healthcare providers, and families together to improve behavioral health, one patient at a time.

We provide psychiatric care to geriatric patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders like cognitive illnesses.

Our newly built state of the art acute geriatric 16 bed hospital will bring about a new vision in behavioral health care to the greater St.

Louis area.

The Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights sees itself as a partner with the surrounding community as we provide psychiatric care to geriatric patients who require inpatient hospitalization due to cognitive illnesses as a result of stroke or dementia and other mental health disorders.

We are CARING IN A BETTER WAY DAY BY DAY! As the Health Unit Coordinator you will provide administrative support for the facility administration.

The Health Unit Coordinator is responsible for general communications on the nursing units, including telephone and written communication and maintaining patient records and administrative reports.

The Health Unit Coordinator will support clinical services, patient access, billing, coding, medical records, scheduling and other responsibilities identified. What you will need :

High school diploma minimum required.

College or vocational training preferred.

Two (2) years of job-related experience required.
