Career Start is currently seeking Machine Operators in Baldwinsville, NY. The Machine Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading raw materials, stock or finished goods into or out of different production equipment. They will operate said equipment as well.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator Role:

• Prepare trays and stretch wrap product
• Prepare rolls of paper for feeding
• Move material and finished product utilizing powered pallet trucks
• Follow detailed inspection standards
• Make minor adjustments to equipment as necessary to maintain quality
• Operate within policies & procedures, maintaining compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements; including compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures

Requirements of the Machine Operator Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret information in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Mechanical inclination preferred
• Previous experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment
