Gallagher Asphalt is Hiring a Hot-In-Place Recycling (HIR) Technical Sales Manager Near Thornton, IL
Are you looking to join a winning team that's making an impact across the country in the pavement preservation space? Hot-In-Place Recycling (HIR) is the cost-effective process for sustainable infrastructure, and we're looking to add a new Technical Sales Manager on our HIR team to cover our Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia Territory!
Working in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Gallagher Asphalt Corporation, the HIR Technical Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Hot-In-Place Recycling. The primary objective of the Hot-in-Place Recycling Technical Sales Manager is to continue to grow Gallagher Asphalt Corporations Hot-In-Place (HIP) division in their respective territory. Must be willing and able to travel to customers on a regular basis by car and/or airplane (approximately 35% travel required).

The primary objective of the Hot-in-Place Recycling Technical Sales Manager is to continue to grow Gallagher Asphalt Corporations Hot-In-Place (HIP) division in their respective territory. Must be willing and able to travel to customers on a regular basis by car and/or airplane (approximately 35% travel required).
Essential Functions of This Role Include:
- Sales - Engage and work with public-sector agencies to successfully bid HIR projects within one's territory. Serve as the liaison with public agency prospects/ customers via personal contact, as well as business communications.
- Marketing - Promote HIR projects in one's territory while they are being performed. Promote the HIP Process by serving as the Company's ambassador at various industry association trade shows presentations, and Lunch & Learn opportunities.
- Bid and Construction Collaboration - Work with the Company's project manager and project engineer throughout all phases of a project and/or bid preparation.
Education and Experience:
- Education- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
