The JOB:

The Kitchen Supervisor is a key part of the leadership team driving excellence at L’Auberge Del Mar – a luxury seaside hotel offering the perfect balance of beach casual and upscale chic. This role is responsible for ensuring a sensational culinary experience for our guests and team members by creating culinary masterpieces. The Kitchen Supervisor supports the Culinary Management with leading a team of culinarians that deliver a fresh and authentic experience showcasing local produce and sustainable seafood. This position includes oversight of all food production for Adelaide, Lyric Coffee Bar, Living Room, Pool Bar and In Room Dining. Will Manage the Kitchen in the absents of the Executive Chef, and Executive Sous Chef. Work on the line during service and assist wherever needed. Ensure that quality and details are being maintained. 

YOU:

To be successful in this position, we're looking for someone who has experience in working all areas of the kitchen: grill, saute and garde manger. You will be responsible for daily inspections of the hot line to ensure that all food is up to standards. Creating culinary masterpieces, maintaining inter-departmental collaboration, enforcing health & safety codes and employee relations will be the focus of your day. This role requires good communication and organizations skills, the ability to motivate and inspire teams and a desire to take care of others while presenting a friendly attitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

3-5 years of High-End Hotel or Kitchen Management Experience.

Able to lift 50lb.

Understanding Kitchen financials and scheduling. 

Understanding Placing orders.
