Job Description
Position reports directly to the Medical Director and/or supervising Physician. The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible to provide personable, compassionate, general medical care and treatment to MMC patients in the Center under the direction of a physician. Responsibility includes providing treatment and care to walk-in patients as well as outreach patients in remote areas and planned health events. Will utilize and coordinate the mobile unit as a staging area for outreach in remote areas and high profile events. Will require some weekend assignments.
Qualification: Completion of formal Family Nurse Practitioner Training, active State of Georgia Family Nurse Practitioner License and an Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.
