Salary range: $19.81/hr. - $25.90/hr.
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing security to the Client's buildings, employees and citizens.
• Duties include checking people entering facilities, monitoring metal detectors, and patrolling buildings.
• Construct professional reports and testify in court, as needed.
• Utilize varying pieces of equipment including fire alarms, computers, panic alarms and elevators.
• Must be able to effectively use firearms and taser, if necessary.
• This position is subject to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass basic security course and pass semi-annual weapons qualifications.
• Course involves handcuffing, responding to active threats and defensive tactics.
• Must qualify with a Conducted Electrical Weapon (Taser) and pass OC qualification.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including those pertaining to search and seizure, as well as knowledge in security procedures, methods, and protocol.
• Valid Drivers License required at the time of application.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED or any equivalent combination of education.
