Wonton Food Inc., a leader in food manufacturing industry, is currently seeking to hire a 2nd shift Handyman/Janitor for our facility in La Vergne, TN able to work from 2pm-10:30pm.

Wonton Food Inc is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented Maintenance Person to join our team in La Vergne, TN.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as: light carpentry work, light plumbing, minor electrical work, and replacing light fixtures and drywall.
• Perform minor plumbing tasks such as: replacing fixtures, repairing pipes, and installing a new water heater.
• Perform minor electrical work such as: replacing light bulbs, repairing outlets and wiring, and other.
• Install office equipment including desks, tables, lockers and other.
• Perform minor landscaping tasks such as: watering plants and mowing.
• Perform minor carpentry such as: replacing doors and windows with similar finishes, installing cabinets and countertops, and repairing or replacing drywall or tile.
• Cleaning up the job site after the job is complete.
• Sanitize different areas of the facility.
• Help janitors as needed or instructed by supervisor.

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to perform general maintenance person tasks including: light carpentry work, light plumbing, and replacing light fixtures or drywall.
• Ability to perform general plumbing tasks including: replacing fixtures, repairing pipes, and installing a new water heater.
• Ability to perform general electrical work such as: replacing light bulbs, repairing outlets and other.
• Ability to perform general landscaping tasks such as watering plants, pruning, and mowing.
• Ability to clean following jobs sites thoroughly and to the company’s standards of quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
