Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
* High School Graduate or Equivalent.
* Previous managerial experience is desirable.
* Must possess a current Driver's License and be able to qualify for The Salvation Army insurance.
Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret common professional journals, financial reports and other data.
* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from beneficiaries, agencies, or the community.
* Abilities to effectively present information to administration, beneficiaries, and/or public groups.
* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio and percentages.
* Abilities to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Requirements:
Speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity to be able to perform on computers. Lifting, pulling and pushing of materials up to 20 pounds to be able to move equipment.
Travel:
Out of town or overnight travel may be required up to 2 times a year for training or program events.
Working Conditions:
This job is mostly performed in a residential institutional environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. At time they will be required to go into the warehouse or stores. Closed toe shoes with rubber soles are required for the warehouse for all employees. This position may be is contingent on living in the ARC (Adult Rehabilitation Center). All employees recognize that The Salvation Army is a church and agree that they will do nothing as an employee of The Salvation Army to undermine its religious mission.
