ATI has a current need for a part-time or full-time Senior Environmental Professional to fill a remote position. The Senior Environmental Professional will be responsible for supporting multiple projects across the US including multi-year Performance Based Remediation (PBR) contracts, and emerging contaminant (PFAS) investigations and remediation.

 Responsibilities

• Developing Work Plans/UFP-QAPPs, and subsequent reports;
• Providing senior level review of data and project specific information and delivering environmental site characterization and remediation projects, including solid understanding of screening values and risk assessment process and assessment/evaluation of data for various environmental media;
• Collaboration with clients, project personnel and managers;
• Designing, performing, or overseeing environmental investigations and remedial actions, building teams of colleagues and subcontractors;
• Data analysis and interpretation, technical report writing, and participating in meetings with clients and regulators.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible for providing clear and concise technical support as part of the project team. Must be a team-oriented person willing to conduct a variety of assignments and write cohesive report sections on the evaluation of investigative and remediation results.

Required/Preferred Skills:

Required skills include a deep knowledge of environmental investigations and remediation projects regulated by RCRA and CERCLA and the ability to develop documents based upon that knowledge; must be able to execute multiple project tasks under varying schedule demands; excellent communication and organizational skills; experience working under detailed quality assurance/quality control programs.

Required Education and Achievements

Minimum of B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology or related field.

Ideally, you’ll also have a master’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental studies, or other closely related degree.

Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist) or the intent to obtain and maintain professional certification.

Preferred Experience:

• A minimum of 12 years of environmental field investigation experience, although training while working is available.
• Significant experience with development of documents for various investigation/remedial action planning and follow-on reporting.

Working Hours: Normal Work Hours – Monday – Friday (anticipate 40 per week).
