Study Physician – Metabolic Disease (Full-time, Mannheim)

Biotalent is working with a prominent Contract Research Organization (CRO) to find a talented Study Physician for metabolic disease studies. Based in Mannheim, this role offers an exciting chance to work on innovative clinical trials focused on patients with diabetes, obesity, fatty liver disease, and other metabolic disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise clinical-pharmacological studies with healthy volunteers and patients suffering from metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, obesity, fatty liver disease (MAFLD/MASH), lipid metabolism, and hypertension.
• Review study protocols and synopses to ensure clinical relevance and study feasibility.
• Provide medical expertise in the consulting team for client inquiries.
• Contribute to the creation of scientific abstracts and publications.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with academic institutions and private practice physicians.

Requirements:

• A degree in human medicine with experience in internal medicine and/or general medicine.
• Proven metabolic diseases experience.
• An understanding of clinical trial processes is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for science and clinical research.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
• A responsible, reliable, and independent approach to work.
