Supply Chain Planner

BioTalent has teamed up with a pharmaceutical organisation focused on the development, production, and distribution of specialty medicines and diagnostics on their search for a Tactical Planner based at their Greater Hamburg site.

As a Tactical Planner, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth production and supply chain processes across multiple levels. You’ll manage replenishment and inventory for international markets, optimise production efficiency, and lead initiatives that drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key contact for multiple countries, overseeing remote replenishment and inventory management in S&OP and S&OE processes.
• Coordinate production orders across multiple MRP levels.
• Perform master data maintenance.
• Develop action plans to address resource bottlenecks and optimise local planning processes such as lead times and production frequencies.
• Lead procurement performance initiatives and continuously seek improvements.
• Manage KPI reporting and analysis, moderate supply review meetings, and actively support the S&OP process.
• Balance the production program for assigned lines and escalate issues when necessary.
• Control inventory policies at the operational level.

What You Bring:

• A completed subject-related university degree and vocational training, with extensive professional experience.
• Several years of experience in an international supply chain environment, within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep understanding of production and capacity planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a hands-on and solution-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
