Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide legal support in commercial and contract matters, particularly within project-based business operations. This role will involve reviewing, drafting, and negotiating distribution contracts, managing legal risks, and working closely with various internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on project-related matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
Support project management teams during contract execution and implementation.
Oversee external legal counsel and manage legal disputes, both in and out of court.
Conduct legal training sessions and risk analyses.
Develop and maintain contract templates, legal guidelines, and standard legal documents.
Support legal operations, including process management, legal project management, and legal technology initiatives.
Your Profile:
Completed law degree with strong academic performance (1st & 2nd state examination).
3-5 years of experience in commercial law, preferably within a law firm or multinational company.
Expertise in contract law, sales law, and mechanical/plant engineering.
Business fluency in German and English.
Practical experience in project management.
Strong analytical skills, a structured working style, and a service-oriented mindset.
Comfortable working in a multicultural and global environment.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and ideally familiarity with legal technology tools.
A doctorate (PhD) or LL.M. is a plus.
