Overview:

As a Senior Manager/Director for Data Management, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions to clients in the financial services sector. This is a senior leadership position that blends deep expertise in data management with a strong business development capability. You will be responsible for leading engagements focused on data governance, data quality, data lineage, and data cataloguing. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to business growth by generating new sales & expanding existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage client engagements, ensuring successful delivery of data management solutions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, providing continued value and identifying new opportunities for growth. Actively farm existing accounts to expand service offerings and increase revenue.
• Leverage your existing network, industry relationships, and personal brand to generate new business. Lead the sales process, from identifying potential clients to closing deals.
• Stay ahead of trends in data management, financial services, and related technologies. Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and external content creation (e.g., whitepapers, blogs, speaking engagements) to position the firm as a thought leader in the industry.
• Lead and mentor a team of consultants, guiding their professional development and ensuring high performance. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

Requirements:

• Extensive Experience in Data Management
• Leadership Experience
• In-depth knowledge of financial services.
• Business Development Expertise: Demonstrated success in generating new business, expanding client relationships, and closing high-value deals. Ability to leverage an existing network of senior stakeholders within the financial services industry.
• Consulting Background: Experience working in a consulting or advisory capacity, with a focus on delivering strategic, client-centric data management solutions. Ability to manage multiple projects and client expectations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with data management tools and technologies, such as data governance platforms, data cataloguing software, and data quality frameworks. Experience with data integration, cloud platforms, and advanced analytics is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, communicate complex ideas clearly, and present compelling business cases. Ability to lead workshops, presentations, and training sessions.
