Junior Compliance Officer - AIFM

Our client is growing Private Equity Investor with an AIFM structure in Luxembourg.

In line with company growth they are looking to hire a new Junior Compliance Officer.

Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic professional in the Luxembourg Funds industry who would like a career path to Conducting Officer!

Duties/Responsibilities

• Providing competence for filing of reports and application forms with authorities;
• Providing compliance related input to regulatory reports (e.g. SAQ, AML Report, Financial Crime Report, AED Reports, RC RAIF Reports, FATCA/CRS Reports, etc.);
• Drafting periodic RC Reports for the BoD and the Management;
• Drafting and applying a Compliance Monitoring Plan and perform controls accordingly;
• Ensuring oversight and control in accordance with an internal control system;
• Monitoring of regulatory changes and assessment on relevance for the company and the funds managed;
• Supporting reports and answering ad hoc enquiries from regulators, auditors, clients;
• Organization of meetings just like BoD meetings, Senior Management meetings and attending meetings and committees and eventually drafting the minutes;
• Following on open points and escalating if deemed necessary.

Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the Luxembourg Investment Fund Industry as a Compliance Officer, Auditor or Risk Manager with Compliance focus;
• Knowledge on Private Equity investments;
• Knowledge of Luxembourgish regulations governing asset management and financial products.
• University’s degree in Law or Finance or similar position related education;
• Ability to work autonomously, accurate and responsible;
• Excellent interpersonal, writing, presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively and concisely;
• Fluent in English.
