Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for entire operations at the site level in Łódź (Poland). The main objective of this role is to plan and monitor the day-to-day operations. You will need to communicate with Site Manager to make decisions for operational activities. You will work closely with other team members as: HR, QHSE, Finance and Engineering. Collaboration and team management will be a key aspect of your role.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify. Your work will directly contribute to improving business processes, optimizing performance, and facilitating strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for providing direction, advice and counsel to Production Managers and Business Support Manager
• Support of managing site's operational budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources
• Management and supervising the workforce, including task allocation, setting deadlines, and monitoring performance
• Formulate strategy and improve performance
• Reviewing and recommending operations policies and procedures
• Management of production and service repair operations and coordinate them with other departments and organizational units
• Leading operations improvements and engineering changes processes
• Ensuring all external and internal Operations KPI's are met
• Representing in our customers & vendors organization in order to build a strong(er) relationship

Qualifications, experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Engineering/Production or related field
• Experience in operations management or a related field
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, follow up, problem resolution and facilitation skills while working with various levels of the organization
• Strong analytic skills for working with datasets to transform data and approach these problems in a creative manner
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate operational requirements into meaningful dashboards
• Ability to exercise controls over the implementation of policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Definite asset: experience in the logistics/production industry
• Fluent Polish – additional languages like English are required (communicative to keep daily communication with customers)
