Job description:

The settlement officer mission is to work within the securities settlement department and perform the main processes which include pre and post settlement activities, clearing, custody, maintain relevant legal docs, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope                                                  

Main Tasks:

• To escalate to his management, the management of the Front Office and / or permanent control the problems identified                                             
• To make sure the teams apply compliance requirements and guidelines                                                  
• Manage trade matching and confirmation processes across various platforms, ensuring trades are allocated, validated and discrepancies are resolved quickly                                               
• Continuously enhance operational efficiency through automation and process improvement initiatives
