Following our rapid expansion in Israel and Serbia, we are now looking for a Sales Manager to take charge of our sales operations in Romania, lead a growing team, and drive revenue growth in the market.
Your Role
As Sales Manager of Ontopo Romania, you will be responsible for developing and executing a structured sales strategy, building a high-performance sales team, and ensuring Ontopo becomes a market leader in Romania. You will work closely with the General Manager and global leadership to align local sales strategies with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Sales Team Management
● Build, lead, and develop a B2B sales team focused on restaurant acquisition and market growth.
● Set clear sales KPIs and revenue targets, ensuring structured performance tracking.
● Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to optimize team performance.
● Develop a scalable sales process with structured pipeline management and deal execution.
2. Sales Growth & Market Expansion
● Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy tailored to the Romanian market.
● Identify and acquire high-value restaurant groups and industry leaders.
● Own the sales funnel from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring continuous pipeline growth.
● Foster strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the hospitality sector.
3. Performance & Data-Driven Sales Strategy
● Utilize CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) to track pipeline efficiency and sales performance.
● Implement data-driven sales methodologies to optimize conversion rates and shorten deal cycles.
● Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine Ontopo’s sales approach.
4. High-Impact Deal Closing & Account Management
● Lead negotiations and high-value contract closures with key clients.
● Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers in the HoReCa sector.
● Work closely with Marketing and Customer Success teams to maximize client retention and upsell opportunities.
Requirements
● Proven experience in B2B sales management, preferably in SaaS, hospitality-tech, or tech-driven services.
● 3 years of experience leading sales teams and delivering strong revenue growth.
● Track record of exceeding sales targets and closing high-value B2B deals.
● Ability to build and execute structured sales processes, including CRM management.
● Experience working with KPIs, sales forecasting, and data analytics to drive business decisions.
● Strong negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
● Fluency in Romanian and English (both written and spoken).
