The Role

WACKO® is seeking a dynamic and results-driven CRM Manager to join our marketing team. This role is key in enhancing customer relationships, improving engagement, and driving long-term loyalty through data-driven strategies.

The CRM Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing customer retention strategies, improving the player lifecycle, and driving engagement through targeted campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of the customer journey, data analysis, and a passion for delivering a personalized experience to our players. The role is on-site, work from our office in Bucharest.


Key Responsibilities

  • CRM Strategy:

-Develop and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy to maximize player engagement, retention, and lifetime value across various channels

-Sculpt dynamic and innovate cross-channel CRM campaigns to build relationships with key consumer segments


  • Campaign Management:

-Plan, execute, and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns, including welcome offers, loyalty programs, retention, reactivation, ad-hoc, and VIP campaigns


  • Customer Segmentation

-Use customer data and behavior insights to segment and target players with personalized offers, content, and promotions based on player preferences, activity, and spending behavior


  • Data analysis and Reporting

-Monitor campaign performance through analytics tools, analyzing key metrics such as retention rates, player activity, and conversion rates to refine future strategies

-Monitor and report on the effectiveness of CRM initiatives and adjust strategies as needed


  • Retention & Engagement

-Drive customer engagement by creating compelling offers and initiatives to ensure continued player loyalty, reduce churn, and increase player lifetime value


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

-Work closely with the creative, product, BI, customer service, and 3rd party teams to ensure that CRM initiatives are aligned with company goals, product offerings, and overall customer experience


  • A/B Testing & Optimization

-Continuously test and optimize customer communication and promotions to improve effectiveness and ROI


  • Compliance & Responsible Gaming

-Ensure all CRM campaigns comply with gambling regulations, responsible gaming practices, and data privacy laws


  • Innovation

-Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas into CRM strategies


What You Bring:

  • 1-3 years of CRM experience or customer retention role B2C, within the online casino, gaming, or iGaming industry,
  • Experience with customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing is essential
  • Knowledge of the Romanian iGaming market in terms of: legislation, compliance, & best practice related to the CRM department functions is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Optimove, Salesforce, Symplify, or experience with other marketing automation platforms is a plus.)
  • Experience with Smartico or any other gamification platforms is a plus
  • Email/SMS marketing platforms, and data analysis tools (e.g MPBI, tableau, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and apply them to campaign strategies. Strong attention to detail is critical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both Romanian and English)
  • Ability to craft compelling messages for various player segments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to think creatively and develop unique offers that resonate with different customer segments
  • A strong understanding of the online casino industry, player behavior, and the gaming ecosystem is highly preferred.
