API / Payments / Fintech - Product Owner* with a BANK - 12 months contract @ CBD & Changi

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act a key subject matter expert on API Banking Payment with domain knowledge on markets, regulations, product, and customer segments
• Experienced in designing and implementing transaction banking products, payment messages, payment transparency in global scale such as ISO 20022
• Deep understanding of Corporate, Fintechs and Financial Initiation’s payment needs, end to end client journey, local regulatory requirements, global standards and etc.
• Define business requirements and API specifications with group stakeholders, form solution, impact assessment, architecture design, client contract and mapping specifications
• Responsible for implementing API Banking payment solution and ensuring data quality, payment transparency, data sovereignty, monitoring and screening controls are fully compliant.
• Clearly document and articulate the system requirements that supports the development of products, features and end to end functionality.
• Analyse APIs of banks (competitors), Fintechs, SWIFT to develop, design and execute a strategic roadmap for API Banking payment product.
• Collaborate with the cross functional teams within the Bank (Channels, Cash products, Country teams) for acceptance criteria, market specific documentation, SIT, UAT, PVT,
• Managing the execution and deliverables with the squad and interfacing teams.
• Assist Development /testing team/ Data Risk team for any functional queries, address functional gaps and drive resolution towards meeting the goals.
• Be an advisor for creating new client solution, guiding complex implementation and ensuring API user guides for various payment capabilities are intuitive, well documented and easy to use on the Marketplace for different customer personas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a proven track record of success in business analysis, product development or project management in Singapore financial industry, fintech or payment aggregator.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Training / working knowledge in digital / fintech payments product development and lifecycle.
• Product expertise in transaction banking products (domestic and cross-border), ISO 20022, market infrastructure and industry trends for Payment APIs.
• Post-secondary technical or business degree / MBA is a strong asset.
